Donor Jag axles arrive

Today received a pallet from SimplyPerfomance.
There are other ways to do this.
I could have bought a write off or a MOT failure for just a few hundred quid.
Or hunted round breakers for all the bits I need.
Or just throw a bit more money at it, call Ben at SimplyPerformance and have it all delivered in a nice neat package.
The guy's at SimplyPerformance have been very helpful. And I commend them to any Cobra builder who needs Jag donor parts.

Four wheels to use when the chassis is built up, front and rear axles. I believe I need to strip parts off, such as the brake calipers and recondition them.
Other parts like the drive shafts and wishbones go to AK Sportscars for exchange with modified items. I'd better start reading the instructions.

The workshop is nearly finished. I need to build a workbench, install some lighting, garage floor tiles and some cosmetic paintwork.

One thing I would change is to start doing the reconditioning work in the summer.
I don't mind the WD40, and blow torch. But skinned knuckles in the winter are more painful by a factor of 10. Looking at these Jag parts while shivering is not good for the enthusiasm.

Anyway, I'd better get busy.

Parts were very well wrapped and shipped.

Four spare wheels and all the bits I need to get started.
